AIMS IN THE MODULE

The broad aspires of this module are to:

Provide an overview of the principles and methods used in common project managing.

Provide the spanish student with specific knowledge upon effective managing of the limitations in job management, specifically scope, cost, quality and time.

Enable the learner to apply common methods and tools used in task management to manage scope, time, cost and quality.

Equip the learner with leadership abilities to ensure correct management of human resources in project managing.

Guarantee learners know about project source management, including project economical management.

Provide knowledge on tools and methods to ensure effective project interaction and risikomanagement.

OUTCOMES IN THE MODULE

After completion of this programme, pupils should be able to: 

Understand and apply universal project management concepts and definitions.

Understand the significance and influence of and relationship among the constraints in a project environment.

Illustrate an understanding of the use of common tools and techniques used in the different levels of a job life cycle.

Efficiently apply prevalent project management tools and techniques, including Work Break down Structures, Gantt charts, Network diagrams and Critical Way Method, to control project scope and period.

Illustrate an understanding of potential task resource problems, and apply project tools to alleviate these types of problems.

Apply communication and risk management tools and techniques in a project management environment.

Illustrate an understanding of leadership experience required to successfully manage and lead project teams, and also to network with various project stakeholders.

Understand project top quality concepts, and apply tools used to monitor and boost project quality at several stages with the project life cycle.
